A compact escape into the Great Rift Valley. You drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride among hippos and fish eagles, then continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for rhino, giraffe and lakeshore birdlife, with a night at a lodge in between.
After an early breakfast, drive from Nairobi down the Rift Valley escarpment, stopping at the viewpoint for panoramic views. At Lake Naivasha, take a boat ride among hippos and fish eagles and walk on Crescent Island among giraffe and zebra. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive and check in to your lodge.
Enjoy a morning game drive around the lake, looking for white and black rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, buffalo and abundant birds, with a stop at Baboon Cliff for sweeping views. After lunch, drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
